VCR DVD Combo Player
Advances in science and innovation in technology have made life simpler and much better. Today, we have come a long way from old times when electronic means of entertainment were limited to black-and-white television sets and radios. These days, you can get a complete home entertainment system that is compact, space saving and superior in terms of its quality and features.
Blu-ray technology has the clear cut advantage including widespread industry support, superior storage capacity, better quality overall, and hundreds of titles already available on disc, you can still hedge your bets. But, remember the DVD/VCR combo players that let you have both a DVD as well as a VCR in one handy component? Same idea here except with the dual format high definition players, you get both a Blu-ray disc player and a HD-DVD player in one box.
Some top brand DVD VCR multi-systems are manufactured by JVC.
JVC DRMV100B 1080p Upconverting DVD Recorder VCR Combo with Built-in Tuner.

It has wonderful quality, and easy to use. People who have had trouble getting the machine to record off TV without stopping have apparently not read the manual carefully. If you are using DVD-RW disks, you have to record in VR mode. If you record in the default mode, which is Video mode, then it will probably stop at a random time and complain about illegal copying.
JVC DRMV100B unit does what it claims to. Digital reception is solid. Recording works well, my only trivial complaint is the fast forward search is too fast and overshoots the stop point repeating. A slower or fine tune search would be an improvement as would the capability to set the timer without turning on the TV and is a bit tedious in that there are delays associated with many things.
Overall, this system works as advertised. JVC DRMV100B unit a good buy and very easy to set up and use. Following the instructions he had no problem operating the unit. He is extremely pleased with the system performance and ease of use. For the price it is very much worth it. You can check the price for the JVC DRMV100B on Amazon and make a good deals.
