Toshiba DVD recorder brings your vids up to digital with the Toshiba DR420 DVD Recorder. Video Upconversion to 720p/1080i/1080p Digital Photo Viewer (JPEG) One Touch Recording makes recording your favorite show simple.
This Toshiba DVD recorder does not have a built-in TV tuner, though you can connect an external Cable or Satellite box. A great thing, though, you can use this component as an easy non-tech way to transfer you old camcorder videotapes onto DVD discs, which also retain quality over archival standards.
My only problem with Toshiba DVD recorder product, I am unable to figure out intuitively how to finalize a disk without the manual, even though I have done it once and am experienced with various DVD’s. ..
And little complaints are that the tray-eject is a little slow & noisy and that there isn’t component video inputs. But it was easy enough to hook up to our cable box (or TV) to record from their outputs.
DVD recorder is the best option for those who want to share video recordings with other users or to have unlimited storage, allowing recordings to be saved indefinitely. They’re also space-efficient, since they can play pre-recorded movies, replacing a separate DVD player. But if none of these attributes is important to you, consider a hard-drive-based DVR instead.
Well, I taught Toshiba DR420 DVD Recorder can’t beat the value for money…
