The Denon AVR-988 is plainly put, one of the absolute best AV units money can buy. The unit is powerful, precise, and beautiful and gives me everything and more, sound quality is exactly what I expect from Denon, high quality, crystal clear sound with very little distortion at full volume. Video quality for the upconversion was impressive.
The Denon AVR-988 is the capability to automatically control the volume level. so that when commercials come on that are usually loader than the program your watching on television, rather than blasting you with higher volume, it maintains your volume level. But I find little problem on remote and the instructions, the remote that came with the unit was defective and it doesn’t always sense the correct video input that’t hooked to it so sometimes, you don’t always get video if you using the upconversion.
