I selected this unit because of its features: radio, CD player, CD-R/RW and an aux input for MP3 players, AM/FM radio, WMA receiver, 4 x 50 Watts maximum power with 2-channel preamp output, White-on-black LCD display, Includes front panel auxiliary input Great reception in the tuner, crystal clear sound quality, high tech styling PLUS a cool remote control.
I wasn’t expecting much, but for the price this is an amazing value. It comes with a nice remote and aux plug-in to play mp3 players. Everything just works and works well. The sound is louder and richer, it is very easy to use, easy installation, easy instructions, easy operation and functions.
The only downside to this radio is the brightness of the letters/number on the face plate with no dimming feature. At night it is extremely bright, not so bad during the day. But not a big problem.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the features and performance of this unit. Aux input on front is great, just buy a separate 3.5mm stereo cable and you can play your iPod, mp3 player, laptop, or whatever. Amazing value, as well. Buttons and knobs seem “just right”. Looks nice as well with the blue lights. If you don’t need or want extra features like Bluetooth, satellite radio, just buy this and you won’t be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this product to others.
